Three auditors from the Commission on Audit Regional Office No. III passed the 2020-2021 bar examinations. They are Atty. Johnson M. Palmares, State Auditor I, from Nueva Ecija Province; and Atty. In addition, Atty. Dimarucut made it to the list of examinees with exemplary performance. The traditional list of topnotchers has been replaced with the list of exemplary and excellent examinees. Supreme Court Associate Justice Marvic Leonen said 761 takers earned the recognition for “exemplary performance” after getting grades ranging from 85-90%, and 14 examinees were recognized for “excellent performance” for obtaining grades above 90%. Dubbed as the “best bar ever,” it is the first to be held digitally and with reduced exam coverage as the Coronavirus pandemic lingers.

In congratulating the new COA lawyers, Regional Director Omar S. Roque, who is also a lawyer, encouraged them to uphold justice, ethical and moral values.
